School Library

  1. Students can borrow only one book at a time and may retain it only for a period of one week. Books borrowed are not transferable.
  2. If a book is not returned on the due date a fine of Re.5/- per day there-after is imposed.
  3. Reference books, periodicals, etc. should not be taken out of the reading room.12.4. Borrowers should report any damage, loss of pages, pictures etc. to the Librarian before they accept the books. If any book is lost, damaged or badly handled, the actual cost for the replacement of the book will have to be paid by the borrower. No page shall be mutilated, torn or spoilt.
  4. Strict silence should be maintained inside the library and Reading Room.

Picnics And Study Tours

  1. Picnics and Study tours are part of study and class activity and hence all are expected to join. It will encourage and strengthen friendliness and love for each other. It is also a source of relaxation and helps to widen knowledge, good relations, social values, maturity and curiosity.
  2. All the divisions of a standard will plan together and finalize the destination, date and expenditure with the approval of the Principal. Class teachers have to organise the programme.

Transportation Service

  1. Considering the immense rush and difficulty in availing public vehicles, K.E.Carmel School provides transportation facility to students from certain destinations. Since the seating capacity of the buses is limited, only those who can adjust to the situation, need to register. Parents have to register their children with the details of boarding and alighting points at the office in the prescribed form.
  2. Those students desiring to make use of bus facility have to register for the whole year and pay the fees in advance on quarterly or annual basis and acquire the bus pass. Withdrawal in between is not permitted.

Co- Curricular Activities

  1. K.E.Carmel school believes in the integral formation of its children and insists on values, morals, character and skill development of all the students. To develop the varied interests and different talents of pupils, we provide ample opportunity, through several co-curricular activities. Besides academic training, the students are given opportunity to get involved in artistic, cultural and social activities through various clubs.
  2. Participation in any one of the following co-curricular activities is compulsory.
